While building a new branch location in Spring Arbor Township at the location of the former Kingspoint Auto Service, American 1 Credit Union faced unforeseen challenges due to their new property being a former gas and service station. The Jackson County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (JCBRA) stepped in quickly to assist. Throughout the entire process, from the initial meeting, application, initiating contact with EGLE, to approval of our Brownfield Grant by Jackson County and Spring Arbor Township, the professionalism, knowledge, and dedication of the team at The Enterprise Group/JCBRA was second to none. Their guidance and support were unparalleled. American 1 Credit Union’s Spring Arbor Branch is now open and providing financial wellness in our community through personal everyday banking, which would not have been possible without the opportunity provided through the approved Brownfield funding and the expertise of the JCBRA.
During a new construction build, Max Docks Systems worked together in partnership with The Enterprise Group of Jackson to take advantage of a property tax abatement through the State of Michigan. This new facility will create employment opportunities and economic growth within Leoni Township and the Jackson community. Max Docks Systems is very appreciative to The Enterprise Group of Jackson for their support and help through the tax abatement process. We are very excited about our future here in Jackson!
