What is PTAC?
The Procurement Technical Assistance Center of South Central Michigan (PTAC) is a partner organization of The Enterprise Group of Jackson, Inc.(EG) and services Jackson, Hillsdale, Lenawee, Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties. The PTAC is a not-for-profit organization, and this procurement technical assistance center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency. In addition, there are funds coming from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and other local partners. PTAC supports national security by ensuring a broad base of capable suppliers for the defense industry and other agencies.
PTAC offers a variety of services for businesses wishing to obtain awards from Federal, State, & local government. We offer businesses assistance in obtaining the ability to bid on government contracts, market research, one-on-one business counseling, training seminars, conferences and networking events, and internet business opportunities.

Your PTAC Counselor
Mike Hindenach is the Program Director/Counselor with the PTAC of South Central Michigan, in the Jackson and Lansing Satellite Offices. Mike Hindenach has over fifteen years of experience in non-profit management. His background includes Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development and accounting for government and industry. Mike is a graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.
This Procurement Technical Assistance Center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). We are dually funded in part by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
